Welcome to our new blog for Northbrook IL Elder Care Issues!

Hi and welcome to the new Open Arms Solutions blog. Our objective is to provide quality content and information regarding elder care, home care, long-term care insurance and other senior issues.

Here’s a little about me, Julie Kollada, co-owner of Open Arms Solutions, along with Barb Lazarus:

Mrs. Kollada has a long, respected track record of founding and growing successful businesses that have included sales coaching and training, a travel agency, and the first ever private 8-week summer day camp devoted to all sports for young girls. Mrs. Kollada’s most recent entrepreneurial venture, Open Arms Solutions, was born out of a long emotional journey that ended with the passing of her mother. Since that time, she has made it her mission to help untangle the massive web of complicated issues faced by the aging and infirm and their families. Like Mrs. Kollada’s past business endeavors, Open Arms shares a common thread – her emotional passion coupled with the expertise and attention to service that will contribute to quality of life.

    I highly appreciate Mrs.kollada's contribution to the society.

    Open-ended questions that are well crafted and and thought out in advance can really increase home care sales or marketing call conversations. After all, conversations are the first step to building a relationship with an individual, and relationships are key to getting referrals in the home care business! The best home care marketing and sales people are the ones that do the least amount of talking in sales call situations. They have mastered the skill of asking good open-ended questions as a way to get conversation flowing.
